single hand paperweight
A small crystal imprint paperweight suitable for a single hand print impression from a baby up to about 6 months of age (£90).
The finished plaque is available in 15 colours and clear, it is approximately 8cm round in small / 10cm in medium and 2cm deep. We can put an inscription under the hand or engraved on the side.
The price includes an initial impression kit (£15).
Older children or even adult handprints can be cast as paperweights, price on application.
How it works:
- When you order we will send you an initial impression kit which contains a slab of soft natural clay, instructions and an order form where you can specify the colour and an inscription which can be added to your plaque for no extra charge. The kit is easy to use and large enough to take a few impressions it can even be can be re-used if you don’t get good impressions first time.
- Once the clay has dried a little you return it to us and we make your plaque from the best impressions. The cost of returning the kit to us is not included. It will cost £3.00 royal mail 2nd class parcel or £4.50 royal mail 2nd class to sign for to return the kit to us in the box which we send it.
- Your finished plaque will be ready to post back to you within 3 – 4 weeks of us receiving your impressions.
The paperweigts shown in this listing are cast in pink glass, and clear glass,(the paler colours of glass are more effective in the paperweight castings).
